New residents bring unique cultural identities that dilute our state's culture - it starts with subtle changes that can have a big impact. Imagine you’re walking on a trail, and say “Hi!” to someone. They think this friendly behavior is weird, and ignore you. Are you going to want to continue greeting people you pass? Or will you reduce this behavior? 

Imagine you experience a similar interaction several times over. Will you continue to greet others on the trail, or will you stop? You’ll probably stop. 

By defining the common core values of Idaho and promoting the culture that makes our state unique, we can preserve the way of life that we ALL love and enjoy an aligned community. Here’s what we’re doing to protect the Idaho way of living:

• Creating an Idaho Handbook titled- ”How to be an Idahoan”

• Partnering with Real Estate Agencies and Property Managers to share Idaho’s core values with new residents across the state

• Grant distribution to support activities that promote or exemplify Idaho's core values

• Establishing partnerships with Idaho-oriented businesses

• Connecting people in local communities and across the state to solve pressing issues

• Promoting Idaho’s culture in podcasts & interviews and at farmers’ markets or other public events

But we can’t do it alone. What we need is the help of Idaho residents like YOU to help spread the word and increase our impact.
